Felipe is a professor, pioneer of Malleco Valley, and one of the most respected winemakers in Chile. This top boutique winery focusses on high quality terroirs and cooler regions of Chile, Malleco being the southernmost commercial valley in Chile, with volcanic soils and climatic conditions similar to Burgundy. Over the last 30 years, Vina Aquitania has produced world class Chardonnay (frequently best in Chile), Pinot Noir, and Cabernet Sauvignon based reds, including Icon Lazuli, recently rated best Cabernet of Chile.
