Domaine Bouchard Pere et Fils is one of the largest holders of Premier and Grand Cru Vineyards in Burgundy. In a region that is devoid of grand structures, the Chateau of Beaune is a part of the Domaine. This castle, where Napoleon Bonaparte lived for two years during one of his campaigns, is where he fell in love with Burgundy. The underground cellars of the Chateau de Beaune also houses the largest collection of old Burgundies in the world, with several bottles from the early 19th century
