The Producer

This wine comes from Francois Labet of Chateau de la Tour, the largest vineyard holder of the Grand Cru appellation, Clos de Vougeot in Burgundy. The grapes come from the island of Corsica, where Francois planted grapes on a high altitude part of the mountainous isle. The clean, delicate style of the wine with contracting aromas and flavours of cherry cola, wild strawberry and blackberry has misled many experts into thinking this is from Burgundy.
