2021 Sandhi Central Coast Chardonnay

Originally from Calcutta, Rajat Parr trained to be a chef. It was during his studies at New York’s Culinary Institute of America that his mentors recognized his aptitude for wine. He went on from there, first to become one of the greatest sommeliers in the world with a special affinity and skill in elusive & much-sought-after Burgundy, where he is highly respected. Rajat then turned to winemaking, in Sta Rita Hills of California where he makes the most Burgundyesque of all wine from the US; at Sandhi & Domaine de la Cote, from Sta. Rita Hills and at Evening Land Winery in Eola-Amity Hills.While he has since gone on to work on other projects, the vintages we still offer are his handiwork.
