"Larmandier-Bernier is a biodynamic pioneer in Champagne, led by Pierre and Sophie Larmandier. Since taking over in 1988, Pierre transitioned the estate’s 18 hectares located in prestigious Côte des Blancs villages like Cramant and Vertus to organic and biodynamic viticulture, a rarity in the region. The estate utilizes 70-year-old vines and a minimalist winemaking approach: indigenous yeasts, long fermentations, and maturation in large oak or amphorae.
