For over a 100 years, Hombo Shunzo has been producing spirits in this small area enclosed by mountains. The body of the spirits comes from Mt. Kurata spring water. The warm regional climate deepens the flavours of the whiskies. Fresh aromas of lemon cake, black tea, and a hint of white smoke, deep sweet aromas of cocoa, buttered toast, and milk candy open up in a multi-layered manner. On the palate it is bitter and fruity like orangette spreads.
