The Mullineux story is a young one, it came into being only in 2007. But in this short period, Chris and Andrea Mullineux have garnered a solid reputation both at home and in top markets around the world as amongst the top wine makers not just in South Africa, but also as a serious quality producer on the world wine scene. Both Chris and Andrea worked several vintages in top wineries around the world – France, South Africa, California and settled on the stony Shale and Schist based terroirs of the Swartland, producing truly great wines. And they are clearly focused on two varieties, Chenin and for the reds, largely Syrah.
