On the palate it is full and generous, demonstrating great density and fruit. The tannic structure is smooth and silky. The finish harmoniously combines freshness and finesse, with gorgeous spicy notes and expressive fruit tones.

On the nose it unveils notes of white flowers and pink grapefruit. The palate is dense and well balanced between richness and vivacity. The minerality of the finish lends great elegance to this vintage.

This property in the Graves is owned and run by the Cazes family of Lynch Bages. Previous vintages here have offered very good quality and delivered attractive, forward drinking with extremely modest release prices. The vines (planted in 1988) have reached peak maturity. Aged in one third new oak and the rest in one and two year old barrels from Chateau Lynch Bages.
