Taken from the highest altitude vineyards in the heart of Chianti Classico, it boasts of excellent structure and smoothness. Elegant, fresh red berry flavors, velvety, aromatic and supple.

Silky and fine consistency with bright aromas of wild cherry and cassis. This vintage is downplayed and subtle, surprisingly so, but also ethereal. That delicate bouquet is framed by light touches of smoke and spice, although the wine's intensity is carefully measured overall.

Chianti Classico Fonterutoli offers a ripe fruit profile with cassis and summer cherry at the front, helps to give this wine an accessible and immediate personality.

The 2020 vintage presents an intense ruby red color with purple hints. On the nose, it offers deep aromas of blackcurrant, blackberry, cedar, and a touch of vanilla and spice from oak aging. The palate is full-bodied and structured, with velvety tannins and rich flavors of dark fruits, licorice, and a long, balanced finish marked by mineral notes and gentle oak integration.

Crispy notes of elder, plum, berries, sandalwood, tobacco, with a very long, bright finish.
